CFA’s top 7 cat breeds for 2010
CFA’s announcement of the top seven of their 41 registered breeds for 2010 were:
Persians topped the charts as Number one in 2010, Persians are very much people cats and love their families.
Since the 1990s Maine Coons have run between numbers two and three in popularity. Maine Coon cat lovers will be happy; this sturdy and beautiful breed came in second
Third is the Exotic Shorthair. With breed standards closely resembling those of the Persian.
The affectionate and lovely Ragdoll assumed fourth place last year,
followed in number five by the Sphynx; a cat that many folks say they look like “Yoda”.
Coming in as number six was the Siamese and
in the seventh place is the intelligent and playful Abyssinian.
